Quite NICE
If there was a 4.5 star option I would give it that because this knife is a very good value for your hard earned dollar. Construction is solid, and the back spring is very strong making it VERY hard to accidentally close this slip joint knife on your fingers during use. The wood is tight grained and well sanded, giving a comfortable feel in hand. I like that they put the steel type on the ricasso of the blade and that they use a fairly modern stainless steel and not some undiscernible steel of unknown origins. - this is a big deal. The blade comes to a very thin edge, much like Opinel knives that many know about. A slight burr was left in a few places, but 3 strokes over a decent strop cleaned up the knife very well. The main thing I miss is a distinct half stop. It does have a functional half stop, I would simply like it to be more crisp so you know exactly when you have the knife at the half stop position. I only took off one point because it is NOT unsafe.
