Best Traditional Knife Under $100 on the Market. Period.

Wow! This thing is a piece of art. The shiny brass bolsters and African Blackwood make for the most stunning contrast. The handle covers have been fitted to perfection -not a single gap between any transition. All pins are smooth. It just feels like a piece of smooth glass in the hand. The details are exquisite: The shepherd's cross; the welded bee; the machine-fileworked backspring; the brass liners. Even the Yatagan blade has been stropped to produce a mirror polish cutting edge straight out of the box. Most of these GR knives are outstanding, but this one is truly exceptional. It's a good size too. Don't assume it's small because it's under 4 inches. That blade really fills the length of the blade well. You can cut a large apple in half with this blade. If I had to pick just one knife under $100 from Knives of France -or even from any of the major traditional knife-manufacturers out there right now- this would be the single one I'd pick. Best pocket knife under $100 on the market. Period.
