An Understated, Highly Functional Piece of History
If you've never held one of these in your hand, you'd be inclined to think it's a gimmick: a folded piece of metal with two pins, a back-spring and a thin carbon blade. But let me tell you--this knife is no joke! The blade slices like an Opinel; the back-spring is rock-solid with a half-stop; the 90 degree blade spine strikes sparks on a ferro rod; the thin handle makes it almost invisible in the pocket; the handle is surprisingly ergonomic. Simply put, the knife is outstanding! There are more beautiful knives out there, but the simple elegance of this design is it's own kind of beautiful. It's no wonder this knife took Northern Africa by storm and became the official knife of Algeria: it's just so practical! If you're on the fence about this one, just take the leap. You won't be disappointed!
