The VG10 steel was originally created for Japanese kitchen cutlery. It’s a Damascus style with a hard steel core cased with 66 layers of softer steel.
VG10 offers a sharp edge and excellent edge retention with a strong and resilient blade, all that with good corrosion resistance.
