Navette carbon steel with brass handle by Coursolle.

Very compact and comfortable to slip in the pocket.

Riveted brass handle, aged, with a “poilu” (hairy).

This is a re-edition of a knife that came out to celebrate the end of WW1. It represents a “poilu” or hairy, a French trench soldier. The trench warfare didn’t give much time to get a haircut or a clean shave, hence the name.

Made using the original dies.

XC75 carbon steel bourbon style blade, satin finish and slipjoint mechanism.

Comes in an original box.
